Here are the courses that are going to be running in the immediate future. Unless noted all materials needed are supplied. All finished pieces are yours to take home at the end of the course. Please refer to the lists below to see what day each course takes place on. Each class runs for two hours. 18 years and over.

​Watercolour (2 week - £30)
WC1 - Monday 3rd Nov & Monday 10th Nov 11am – 1pm Escape from it all with a scene from a wonderful sunny Mediterranean town.

WC2 - Tuesday 4th Nov & Tuesday 11th Nov 6pm – 8pm Learn some of the basic principles of watercolour painting as you create a charming floral picture.
​
WC3 - Thursday 13th Nov & Thursday 20th Nov 2pm – 4pm Discover more about watercolour painting as you work on a country cottage scene.
​
WC4 - Monday 24th Nov & Monday 1st Dec 11am – 1pm Create a striking image of an historical landmark, learning how to gain greater control of this wonderful media.

WC5 - Thursday 4th Dec & Thursday 11th 2pm – 4pm
Develop your watercolour skills as we create a chilly festive village painting.

One off Watercolour Monday 17th November 11am – 1pmIn this one-off session explore how to use watercolour and create a painting of a tasty treat! (£15)

These classes are perfect for those that would like to learn how to start using watercolour paints, pick up on a hobby they once tried, or to continue to develop their skills.
Learn how to use them (and possibly other media) to create some lovely finished pieces. Over the weeks we will explore how to create watercolour paintings that capture the mood and emotion of the moment. All materials are supplied.

Pastel drawing
Monday 24th Nov & Monday 1st Dec 2pm-4pm Using chalk pastel to its full advantage create an atmospheric lake side scene. (2 weeks - £30)

Monday 17th Nov 2pm-4pm Using chalk pastel create a beautiful sea scape image. (£15)

Chalk pastel can create some stunningly beautiful effects and is a lovely medium to work with. Come and explore what is possible and create some amazing results.
Silk Painting
Monday 15th Dec 2pm-4pm A wonderful way to create a few lovely creations using the simple process of silk painting.

Why not try silk painting. If you have done it before you will know how wonderfully satisfying it is - if you have never done it... you don't know what you are missing!
Printing
Monday 3rd Nov & Monday 10th 2pm-4pm Create a splendid repeating print pattern and then use the techniques learnt to make a striking floral image ready to frame and display.

Explore the art of print making. This technique will allow you to create images in a special way, that no other media matches. Fun and immediate, it offers much to those wishing to explore their creativity.
Art for the Terrified!
Watercolour - Thursday 13th November 11am-1pm Find out how to use watercolour to your advantage and create a painting you will be proud of.

Acrylic - Thursday 20th November 11am-1pm Find out how to use acrylic paint to its best as you paint a beautiful sea scene.
​
Ceramics - Thursday 27th November 11am-1pm Create an assortment of different ceramic pots. These will be fired and available for you about a week later.
​
Chalk Pastel - Thursday 4th December 11am-1pm Use this beautiful soft medium to create a jolly highland cow image.
​
Printing - Thursday 11th December 11am-1pm Learn about how you can use a printing process to create a striking image all ready to display on you wall with pride.

Always wanted to have a go at art... but too terrified to try! This collection of differnt media is just for you! Pick which ones you want to try... or be brave and do all 5.

Christmas Art & Crafts
Ceramics 1 - Tuesday 25th November 6pm – 8pm With Christmas around the corner create a collection of decorative festive items from clay. These will be fired and available for you about a week later.

Gift Box - Tuesday 2nd December 6pm – 8pm Perfect for the crafters amongst us. You will be making charming gift boxes that could be hung on the tree or even used as table decorations!

Painting - Tuesday 9th December 6pm – 8pm Paint create a cheery Nutcracker picture.. all ready for Christmas.
​
Gift tags - Monday 15th December 11am – 1pm Using watercolour paints create a collection of highly individual, and wonderfully charming gift tags, all ready for the big day!

As Christmas creeps nearer to us why not have a go at some festive creativity. All the materials and equipment you need will be supplied. Have fun!​

Christmas 'Art Tour'
Tuesday 16th Dec 6pm – 8pm Spend some time on a journey through Christmas themed art. A fun and informative talk about art, with a festive quiz and a chance for you to ‘have a go’ yourself!
