Saturday August 13th

Why not come to one of the most famous art galleries in the world to see some of the finest paintings?

The National Gallery in London houses paintings by some of the greatest artists who have ever lived, how about seeing their work in person?

It might be Van Gogh, Monet, Vigée Le Brun, Turner or Holbein... they are all there!

All waiting for you to visit!

The Gallery is 'free', they do ask for a donation to help running costs.

This is not an 'organised visit' as such. John, from The Artroom, will be visiting the gallery for the day and encourages you to do the same.

There will not be any specific activities provided (although the Gallery does have some excellent audio guides and children's interactive guide), but John would like to introduce you to some of his favourite paintings.

Why not invite some friends to join you, go as a family group (click here for top tips on visiting a galley with children), or just come by yourself?

John will be at the main entrance to the Sainsbury Wing at midday, 1.00pm, 2.00pm and 3.00pm why not meet him there?

If you are planning on coming for the day do let The Artroom know:

Yes I'm thinking of joining you at The National Gallery.

I look forward to seeing you!
