Mottisfont Adventure

mott2.png

Follow in the footsteps of many artists as you use the house and grounds as an inspiration for an assortment of creative works.

There are two separate days to the Mottisfont adventure. They work together, or you could come along to either one or the other.

Whatever you decide there will be lots of creative opportunities.

DAY ONE

Monday August 15th

A chance to explore the grounds and building at Mottisfont. This wonderful National Trust owned property offers many creative opportunities. If it is your first time there discover (as the National Trust site says) "Ancient trees, bubbling brooks and rolling lawns that frame this 18th-century house with a medieval priory at its heart", absorbing the beauty as an inspiration.

If you have been before revisit parts that you know and love, but look at them in a different way - engaging with the house on a new level.

There will be a selection of guided activities for you to choose from during the day. Don't worry if your drawing is not that good, you've never touched a watercolour paintbrush or you have no ideas about art history! The activities will guide you along the way. John, from The Artroom, will be there to help and support as much as you need.

It would be a good opportunity to try something different, and explore your creativity.
