This classic still life is one that will get you thinking about a variety of techniques. You will need to build up in layers if you are to achieve the finish that you are after. In the tracing out I suggest leaving off the vase and the rose. I think it works as a better composition. Follow the video as a guide and use it to help you when you get a bit stuck, but try to work out what you need to do to produce a painting you are happy with.
